BIO: Stephanie has been a pediatric occupational therapist since 1998 and has worked in public school, home health, and clinic settings. She’s been serving as the CEO of Learning Charms since 2010. Given the shortage and work demands of pediatric OTP’s, Stephanie became increasingly interested in how technology can facilitate efficiency for OTP’s. The O.T. Wizard entered soft launch in February 2025, following two years of development.

When not fussing with health insurance auditors, she spends her spare time gardening and taking long walks. Stephanie and her husband have two grown children and live in Charlotte, NC.

Session Block 1: Introduction + Evaluation Process Overview

Step behind the curtain and into the world of O.T. Wizard. In this session, participants will explore how this digital tool transforms the pediatric evaluation process for children aged 3–12 across school-based, clinic, home health, inpatient, and outpatient settings. The psychometric properties of the OT Wizard will be explained, along with the extensive pilot studies that have been conducted.

Attendees will learn how to

  • set up an account,

  • select from standardized templates, and

  • complete a comprehensive evaluation using time-saving features like auto-scoring, built-in domains, and customizable narratives.

    Whether you’re evaluating for medical necessity or educational eligibility, O.T. Wizard ensures standardized, efficient, and evidence-based documentation — no magic wand required (but highly encouraged).

O.T. Wizard Lab: Log In & Learn the Magic

Ready to work your magic? In this interactive session, participants will receive access to the O.T. Wizard platform and complete guided activities using their own login.

You’ll learn/walk through

  • real-time evaluation steps, from selecting a template to auto-generating reports —

  • opportunities to ask questions,

  • explore features

  • learn the mini assessments such as the W.A.N.D (HandWriting Assessment aNd Data) and scissor assessment

  • complete a pediatric evaluation start to finish. Learn how to customize evaluations, generate performance scores, and download sensory and handwriting assessments instantly.

    By the end of the session, you’ll be spell-ready to bring the O.T. Wizard back to your daily workflow.

Notes about subscriptions

  • Subscriptions are not transferrable or shareable

  • Subscriptions purchased by an organization belongs to the organization

  • Users that already have a paid subscription to the O.T. Wizard may request for a one year extension. Please email us for that request.

  • Only those registered for day two qualify for the free subscription. Free subscriptions via conference registration will be placed in the name and email as in registration. Site access and subscription starts on the day of the conference event.
